Cantagallo is a community in Lima, populated by indigenous Shipibo peoples from the Amazonian region of Pucallpa. What began with 7 migrants in the year 2000, has grown into a community of more than 400 people, most of them being artists and artisans.
The women of the community are masters in amazonian beadwork. This necklace is an homage to their technique. Each piece is hand-beaded with local materials.
