Chinchero is a high-altitude region (12,343 ft above sea-level) in Cusco, known for its terraced hillsides and centuries-old weaving tradition. We have held a relationship with the artisans of Taller de Tejidos Q'aytu since August 2025. Our founder later lived alongside Norberta Auccacusi Huaman for two separate months, in June and August of 2026, designing and building our FW26 Riti Collection together.

Q'aytu means wool. Norberta inherited the home of her mother, Santusa, and transformed it into a weaving school and residence carrying that name, where visitors come to learn the craft that has been passed down through her family for generations. From our time spent living at Q'aytu, we developed a bond with the ñawi awapa, a woven symbol of protection that means 'the eye of the textile' in Quechua. Its spirit has guided the design of all our pieces made in Chinchero.
