Flor Malca

Flor is one of the youngest artisans who collaborates with SIQUICHA. She is exceptional at turning images into designs, which she picks line by line as she prepares the textile on the loom. In Spanish, this is a technique called ‘escoger’. Flor’s dedication to qallwa weaving is one of the golden threads that we credit to the preservation of their art.
